Yellow Rhino Ministries is a 501c3 non-profit ministry that was started in 2019. When Chris first visited Nairobi in 2018 she felt a calling to extend Christ's love and mercy to orphans and children living in extreme poverty.  Education is vital for these children. Some of these children do not have enough to eat and some are sick. Some have been badly traumatized and some need Godly parenting and training. Some just need encouragement and to see someone living out their faith. Our aim is meet as many of these physical needs as we can for our select students, and then address their spiritual need - and make disciples. We chose Yellow Rhino Ministries for our new name because our goal is that our students will stand firm in their faith (like the Rhino who does not back down) and shine the light of Jesus wherever they go.
